I’m Andrew Marttila, a professional animal photographer specializing in cats. Over 10+ years, I’ve taken hundreds of thousands of photos of our feline overlords which have been used in worldwide media in both digital and print, from the cover of National Geographic to Good Morning America.

I’m the author of Cats of the World, Shop Cats of New York, Cats on Catnip, and How to Take Awesome Photos of Cats. In addition to licensing photo and video content, I also teach photography and editing for major brands like Adobe and Canon.

I’m very passionate about animal rescue! Along with my partner Kitten Lady, I help run Orphan Kitten Club, a nonprofit in San Diego that saves kittens in need.
